About the length of the discharge arc: input voltage 12 V / 5A, the distance of the high voltage discharge arc is about 1-2 CM. The higher the input voltage and current, the higher the output power, the longer the distance of the discharge arc, when the input is a maximum of 30 V / 10 a, the distance may exceed 5 CM. If the arc is too short, check that the input power is sufficient.
 
For power:
The output power circuit depends on the input power, if you only have 30 W of power, even if you want to be a ZVS with 200 W, it can not reach 100 W or 200 W, so the input power must be adequate, power = voltage x current!
