The sensor module has strong adaptability to ambient light, it has a pair of infrared emission and receiving tube, the transmitter tube emits a certain frequency of infrared, when the detection direction encountered obstacles (reflection surface), infrared reflection back to be received by the receiving tube, after comparator circuit processing After that, the green light lights up and the signal output interface outputs a digital signal (a low-level signal) that adjusts the detection distance via the potentialr knob, with an effective distance range of 2 to 30cm and an operating voltage of 3.3V-5V. The detection distance of the sensor can be adjusted by the potentometer, with small interference, easy assembly, easy to use and so on, can be widely used in robot barrier avoidance, barrier avoidance car, pipeline count and black and white line tracking and many other occasions.
Description of module parameters
1 When the module detects the front obstacle signal, the green light on the circuit board lights up the level, while the OUT port continuously outputs the low level signal, the module detection distance is 2 to 30cm, the detection angle is 35 degrees, the detection distance can be adjusted by the potential device, clockwise adjust the potential device, the detection distance increases;

The sensor detects by active infrared reflection, so the reflectivity and shape of the target are the key to the detection distance, in which the black detection distance is small and the white detection distance is large. A small object has a short distance, but a large object has a large distance.
